We are not responsible for flat tires and we do not issue refunds for flats.

Do I need a motorcycle license?

No. Scooters are 49cc so no special permit is needed, however, you must have a valid driver’s license. No temporary learning permits.

Are glasses required?

For Bikes and Scooter It is not mandatory but it is highly recommended to wear a helmet for your safety.

It is mandatory to wear glasses when driving a 49cc scooter (moped).

Glasses are more important than a helmet when travelling on a 2-wheeled vehicle.

The helmet is for your own safety, glasses prevent anything from getting into your eyes and causing an accident.

Do I need to fill the tank with gas?

Yes, you need to bring it with a full tank, an extra $5 will be charged for not bringing the moto scooter moped with a full tank.

How can I avoid damage while parking?

Stay away from high‐trafficked areas like fire hydrants, corners, and driveways. The more car movement there is, the greater the risk of your scooter getting hit.

Don’t leave your front tire hanging out in traffic.

Make sure your bike is firmly planted on its kickstand or centerstand and not too tippy in any direction.

How can I make sure the vehicle is safe while parking?

Be friendly with the business owners, residents, and doormen where you park regularly; they’ll be your
eyes when you’re not around, and may pass along information to you in case of an incident.

Use multiple methods: a steering lock, a wheel chained up (especially to a stationaryobject) will take too long for most thieves to defeat.

Park near others, especially other motorcycles, in well‐lit, foot‐trafficked areas.
